Gortinore Distillers Co are the company behind one of the most exciting and novel brands to enter the Irish Whiskey market recently.

Featuring a striking bold image of Ireland’s rarest amphibian species, the Natterjack Toad, this whiskey sports a new flavour profile for Irish Whiskey.

The team behind the brand are currently building a distillery in the County Waterford town of Kilmacthomas, more famous as the home of Flavahan’s porridge.

You never know, some of Flavahan’s oats might even make an exciting mixed mashbill whiskey for Gortinore!

Casks Away will be closely watching the development of this brave new Irish Whiskey Distillery.

But in the meantime, you can always kiss the toad!
