Kilbeggan Distillery in the heart of Ireland is a jewel of a distillery steeped in over 250 years of history.
Originally licensed in 1757, (there may have been unlicensed distilling before this date) it proudly boasts being the oldest continually licensed whiskey distillery in Ireland.
There have been many owners over those years, but currently Beam Suntory are the custodians of this facility along with their sister distillery of Cooley in County Louth.
Kilbeggan Distillery is the visitors experience to both distilleries where their tasty range of whiskeys can be explored.
Locke’s, Tyrconnell, Connemara and Kilbeggan whiskeys are all available to taste as well as buy at the shop in the distillery.
The recently released Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye is the first wholly Kilbeggan produced and matured whiskey to be made at the Westmeath facility after a restoration in 2010.
Let Casks Away deliver you to this fantastic whiskey experience.
