by Casks Away first encountered this new entrant into the Irish Whiskey scene at the annual extravaganza that is Whiskey Live Dublin.
Fronted by two young and enthusiastic Americans of Irish descent, they offered their slightly unconventional 12 Point Rogue Buck Whiskey for tasting.
It features a 10 year old sourced Irish Single Malt Whiskey finished in African Mahogany wood.
The results were certainly tasty, and offered a new range of flavours to the category.
Plans are afoot to build a distillery on the picturesque Carlingford Peninsula.
Irish Whitetail’s website isn’t giving too much away.
Casks Away hopes this is a temporary situation and would love to see this young couples dreams come to fruition.
